Tiopronine 250 Mg by tablets.

Action
Acadione is a drug antirhumatismal whose action is slow.

Indication
Polyarthritis rhumatoïde
Renal calculi (in certain cases only)

Posology
Strictly individual, posology must be adapted gradually by the medical community until obtaining an effective quantity of the weakest possible drug.

Counter-indications

* Intolerance with gold salts
* In the presence of breathlessness (dyspnea) it is necessary to stop the treatment and to ask a medical opinion.
* Pregnancy and breast feeding
* Érythémateux Lupus
* Myasthénie
* Dermatosis (skin disease) serious
* Renal affection
* Hematologic affection (disease of blood) in certain cases

Undesirable effects

* Loss of the taste
* Digestive disorders with type of vomiting, nauseas, diarrhea
* Itchings
* Eruption
* Mouth ulcers
* Hyperthermia (fever)
* Respiratory problems requiring the stop of the treatment and a request for medical opinion

Precautions for use
Effects of the acadione appears slowly and requires a time of action from two to three months. during these a few months it is sometimes useful to call upon analgesics (antidouleurs) on medical council.

Notice
Antecedents of serious accidents with the pénicillamine must be known of the patient what contra-indicates the use of the acadione.
