Indications

Symptomatic treatment of the intestinal functional demonstrations, in particular with meteorism and diarrhea.
Actapulgite can be prescribed in the child.

Posology

- Adult: 2 to 3 sachets/day (preferably, before the meals).
- Child (of more than 10 kg): 2 sachets per day (preferably, before the meals).
In order to obtain a perfectly homogeneous mixture and of pleasant taste, it is recommended to mix dry this drug with caster sugar before water addition.

Against indications

Affections sténosantes of the digestive tract.
Because of the presence of glucose, this drug is contra-indicated in the event of syndrome of malabsorption of glucose and galactose.

Undesirable effects

Possibility of constipation in the event of prolonged use or to strong amounts.
