In which case drug ACTAPULGITE is it prescribes?
This drug is a digestive bandage with clay. It protects the digestive tract and fights the production of gas.

It is used in the symptomatic treatment of the disorders of the intestinal transit time, in particular in the event of diarrhea and of distensions.

Counter-indications of drug ACTAPULGITE
This drug should not be used in the event of disease involving a risk of obstruction of the digestive tract.

Caution
Do not use this drug in a way prolonged without the opinion of your doctor: examinations can be necessary if the symptoms persist.

Precautions are necessary in the event of mégacôlon.

This drug contains sugar (glucose) in notable quantity.

Interactions of drug ACTAPULGITE with other substances
This drug can decrease the absorption of many drugs. A time of at least 2 hours (even 4 hours with antibiotics of the family of the quinolones) must be respected between the catch of this drug and that of the other treatments. Ask council your doctor or your pharmacist.

Pregnancy and breast feeding
The substances contained in this drug are absorbed little. Nevertheless, do not use it in a way prolonged during the pregnancy or breast feeding without the opinion of your doctor or your pharmacist.

Directions for use and posology of drug ACTAPULGITE
This drug is taken preferably before the meals.

Usual posology:
Adult: 2 to 3 sachets per day.

Child of more than 10 kg: 2 sachets per day.

To obtain a homogeneous and pleasant mixture with the taste: mix the powder with sugar before adding water, or mix it with a yoghourt.
