Benefits of breast feeding
Breast feeding remains the best means of meeting the needs for the infant. The mother’s milk contains protids, lipids, glucids, vitamins, rock salt, the whole being adapted to the digestive system of the newborn and being distributed in a balanced way. It brings moreover of the antibodies which reinforce immunizing defenses. In general, a nursed child is more resistant than a child nourished to artificial milk in the first months of the life. The World Health Organization (WHO), recommends a breast feeding up to six months.
