Does the skin of the men age like that of the women?
The men age better than the women. Or is this the company which accepts them better when they take age? In any case the ageing of the skin, concern of the women since glosses, also starts to interest their partners. But can they be satisfied with the same care?

Men and women, a question of skin?

Men or women, our skin with the same structure and it are formed of the same components. Differences are however seen (in addition to pilosity, obviously): the men have the skin more often fatty, thicker, often prone to the buttons. The reason of these differences, it is the testosterone. This male hormone, secreted by sexual glands of the men (the women have of it also an minor amount, manufactured by the glands suprarenals) has an impact on sébacées glands – those which manufacture the sebum, fat contents which settle on the surface of the skin.

Skin fattier, and better protected, for the men

Activated by testosterone, the sébacées glands of the men are more active. Their skin is thus on average fattier, even if certain men have obviously the dry skin. However sebum, even if it has disadvantages (brilliant skin, buttons under certain conditions…), fulfills an important function of protection of the skin. The skins with fatty tendency thus age better than the dry skins, which explains why the men seem to us often privileged on this ground!

The men deserve care all the same…

Because the structure of their skin is the same one as that of the women, the active ingredients that one finds in the products for men are most of the time the same ones as those which are used for the women: acids of fruits, credits hydrating and matifiants, minerals, etc the principal difference will be that the men will be entitled to textures much lighter, because they need less hydration. And this difference increases with the wire of the life. For the women indeed, the skin becomes drier when it takes age – in particular at the time of the menopause. The creams for women of ripe age are richer and more hydrating. They thus agree even less with the skin of the men which, it, does not change enormously with time since the hormones only decrease very slowly. If the young men can appreciate to prick the pots of their girlfriend, with time that thus becomes less and less useful. And then if the fact of having their products with them can convince them of chouchouter a little, which would complain some?
