Family of fatty-acids. The great majority of the fatty-acids mono-unsaturates contributes to protect us from the cardiovascular diseases (contrary to the saturated fatty-acids). One finds them in great quantity in certain fat contents of vegetable origin (oils of colza, olive, nut, soya and groundnut).
