folic acid
Name chemical of the B9 vitamin, normally present in the food and the organization in the form of folate. The folic acid plays a big role in the renewal of the cells and the manufacture of the red globules. An insufficient contribution of folic acid can have serious consequences, in particular in childhood and adolescence (weakens) or during the pregnancy (malformations of the fetus).
