Small guide of food diversification
Nourished to the centre or the feeding-bottle, baby gradually will discover new gustatory pleasures. But attention, the stage of food diversification is delicate to manage! At which moment to introduce vegetables, meat and fish? Doctissimo says to you very for first meals… without false step!

Not too quickly!
No precipitation! Baby must remain with milk at least up to four months (and six, it is better!)! Why? Because the number of food allergies in the children is in constant increase, in particular because of too early food diversifications. For certain ingredients, the introduction must be later still: not before six months for the gluten of cereals and ten months for eggs. And go ahead gently, not more than one new food at the same time. But do not delay too either, certain scientists think that could involve disorders of the food behavior, and in particular a néophobie: not having been accustomed to a large variety of food when it was receptive, the child then more refractory with would be discovered new tastes.

Of course, milk remains in the center of the meal of baby, the other food will replace it only in a progressive way.
Not enough of fat!
When one thus changes the food mode of baby, not easy to give him exactly that which it needs. If the mother’s milk or adapted milks has a composition which corresponds to its needs, it is now with you to avoid imbalances. Will know for example that the babies miss lipids today, then do not hesitate to add a small knob of butter over their spinaches! According to a survey carried out by the pr. Marc Fantino of Dijon and the SOFRES, the food of the children between 4 months and two years contains between 29 and 33 % of fat contents, whereas the mother’s milk contains 45 % of them. Moreover, the contributions in fatty-acids Omega 3 and Omega 6, would be insufficient. Do not forget to put fish at the menu!
Park with excesses
Contrary, the quantities of proteins in the first meals of baby are too high. According to the pr. Fantino, these contributions would be three to four times superiors with those recommended! However there seems to be a direct link between this excess and the future risks of obesity… Think of supporting vegetables!
With regard to salt, fortunately there do not seem to be problems in the first months of food diversification. It is true that the products for baby are extremely controlled. The risks of excess appear thereafter: as of the 3 years age, 50 % of the children exceed the advised nutritional contributions (920 mg/j). Park with the chips!
