saturated fatty-acids
Family of fatty-acids which tend to support the cholesterol deposits in the arteries and thus to increase the cardiovascular disease risks. They are especially in the animal fats (butter, cream-coloured fresh, cheeses) except those resulting from fish, in certain tropical oils (palm oil for example) and in the products manufactured starting from these sources of fat (industrial pastry makings, pork-butcheries, fatty dairy products, etc). Their contribution in the food must be limited.
