Stress with work
An important project, a conflict with a colleague or a delay within the deadlines, are as many daily factors supporting the stress with work. You do not let lock up in the spiral of the stress, react to your way!

An increasing phenomenon.
Not that the precariousness of work is a new element of our century, but threatening unemployment made cling to its work, even under not very satisfactory conditions. The definition of the stress remains rather fuzzy and subjective, sometimes very negative, sometimes more moderate. When the requirements are too heavy, one becomes more receptive with the stress.
Manifestations of the stress.
A blow of stress can generate physical symptoms, like a reddening of the face, an acceleration of the heart, a higher sugar rate in blood.
A chronic stress can involve:
• a raised tension,
• an increased risk of diabetes,
• an embrittlement of the muscles and tendons,
• sleep disorders,
• pains…
Also all come the disorders of psychological nature, as the crises of anguish or a depression, and even the suicide. The tension with work pushes some towards aggressiveness, susceptibility.
The company doctors try to determine the signs of an important stress at the employees to avoid a crisis or a real depression. The repeated absences or delays, aggressiveness, the variations of weight, the evils of belly, a ball with the throat can constitute alarm bells as many.
Main causes.
To have a work meets a paramount need for recognition of its value in the company. An employment occupying on average one the third of the life time of a credit, the stress with work quickly becomes exhausting and heavy to support.
A share of the causes of the stress raises of elements sometimes more or less subjective, related to perception that each one is made its work conditions:
• quantity of work,
• authority of a chief,
• lack of recognition,
• too heavy responsibilities,
• repetitive tasks…

Good relationships with the colleagues constitute an invaluable help to resist the stress with work. Contrary, a bad agreement, moral harassing (law of 2002 in the labor regulation) or sexual can quickly turn to the nightmare in his relationship with others.
The place of the women in the work world is still the object of many criticisms. The ceiling of glass exists indeed in certain companies for the wages and the differences in careers between the two sexes.
Some ideas for less tensions.
How to prevent that the stress did not rot the existence with excess? The resources many and are diversified. Within its work initially: by asking an additional time, a more team, while discussing with his/her collaborators, by consulting the company doctor… Or outside its professional universe: by regularly making sport to evacuate the tension, or by finding a comfort near its close relations. There are no miracle solutions, it is with each one to know to pose its limits.
With a rather large room for maneuver in the organization of his work, one can better manage an important workload. Avoid also excesses of cafeine, alcohol or cigarettes.
But attention if the stress with work is source of a real discomfort or sufferings, one should not remain inactive. The opinions of the attending physician and the company doctor are essential.
